A gentle introduction to Rust
Description
Rust is a systems programming language that runs blazingly fast, prevents segfaults, and guarantees thread safety. In this presentation, the speaker will show Rust's fundamental features and examples of well known algorithms' implementation (e.g., Dijkstra's Algorithm).

Rust + Python
Description
The speaker will share the experience of building a Rust library and then importing it as Python module by PyO3. He will show a toy filesystem based on FUSE, which allows you to "mount" any RESTful service as a local filesystem. With this prototype, it is possible to build your own YouTubeFS or GitHubFS that treats any API call as a file operation.
